Sony expands the Walkman series

Sony has expanded its Walkman series of personal audio players with the inclusion of NWZ-B170 series. These are ultra-portable audio players with relatively long battery life, but low storage capacity. The players are powered by a battery-pack with Quick Charge function that can replenish a spent pack in little over 30 minutes. Sony claims that at full charge the batteries can deliver an impressive 18 hours of music playback.

Sony has released the NWZ-B173 model, which has 4GB of internal storage and is priced at Rs. 3,990. The Sony Walkman NWZ-B172 has 2GB of internal storage and is selling for Rs. 2,990. Each model is available with black, red, pink, and gold color options. (Source: Technoholik, 27th March,2012)
